How long can someone wear their contact lens?!

Question: It really depends on the type of lense the person uses. there are many types in the market with a beta range of the silicon range that might offer the user an extended wear basic to 24hrs wearing. It really depends on the user. Hydrogel lenses are suitable for wear for about 8-10hrs but silicon range are suitable and recommended for most user as it allow more oxygen flow. thus enable the user to have better eye health like not so much redness and end of day dryness

its best to tak them out at night how long they last idk

It depends on the person and on their contact lens type. Most optometrists seem to recommend daytime wear, where you remove them every night; longer periods with them in your eyes can lead to blood vessels growing into your field of view. If your eyes become oxygen-starved from wearing contacts too long/often, then blood vessels in them start enlarging and growing longer to try to compensate; this interferes with your vision (the reason why arteries are limited in your eyes in the first place). My estranged husband had to stop wearing contacts entirely for a couple years because of this -- he'd been leaving them in too long, and his doctor told him he was at risk, the blood vessels were already changing. You also run a greater risk of infection, since the area under the contacts isn't refreshed with tears or blinking.

Some contacts are made to be worn for longer periods, but not all people can tolerate them, and some eye doctors think they increase the risks to your eyes. Your eye doctor will know what is recommended in your particular case.

Well mine arnt the kind your through away, but my eye docter said its best to wear them 9-12 hours a day.. nothing more, just because when you start to over wear them, your have a greater chance of and eye infection-pink eye.. in further notice. Hahaha! but yea just more & more bacteria will build up on the contact so be sure not to wear them for the longesttt time ahha!
Good Luck..
