Any time.
The dilated pupils make focussing a little tricky, and you might need to use sunglasses because bright light will hurt. But there is no reason not to use your contacts. Just make sure there is not any of that yellow dye or dilating chemical still in the eye so it doesn't stain the contact. Of course if it is disposable, who cares? Rinse with a little water and go ahead.

lol you can put them in right away. You dont have to have your contacts out for dilated pupils.
