I would say:
I'm putting my contact lenses in.
&
I'm I'm taking my contact lenses out.
But all the others work as well so you can choose.

put it on
put on

I say "i'm putting my contacts in" and "I'm taking my contacts out" Sounds okay to me!

I'm putting my lenses on is correct. You put on your lenses.
I'm removing my lenses is correct.

all of them work no one really cares
