i was suffering from the exact same as you, so i went for a free eye test, most places do them, just ask around, and they told me i needed glasses for long distance reading, because i had become so use to focusing on things up close, my vision started to break up looking at computers or books and be really blurry far away. Most people suffer from this at some point. And the glasses arnt that bad! i just have to wear them if im reaing something far away although i can use thm when on computer! so i think you should goo get it checked out! youve got nothin to loose, and it is free in most good eye places!

I would make an appointment with my optometrist if I were you.

You probably do need glasses... I had exactly the same symptoms as you and I got some. I think eye tests are free if you have insurance... but I'm not POSITIVE.

You have to pay for eye test Its not necessary that you need glases.

You do need to see a doctor sounds like you are straining your eyes i have the same think 20/20 but i have glasses for when i read or am on the computer they enlarge things alittle to reduce the dtrain they are prescribed form doc

No, I am afraid there is no such thing as a free eye exam, unless you have a friend in the business, then maybe you can get it at a reduced cost, if not completely free.

I don't think you need glasses.I just think you are on the computer or reading a book for to long.

Move to Canada where we have free health care and until then try to blink more often when reading.

i suspect eye strain but Yes you can find place to get Free eye exams. Check with local welfare agencies.

yes you need glasses, and yes, you can get a test for free. The same thing happened to me. I was 20/20 but by the time i started using a computer 8 hours a day at work, my sight started to deteriorate

I think you do need glasses, and I don't think you can get any eye tests for free.
-i hope that helped! good luck!! :D

SOUNDS LIKE TO ME YOU DO.I SIT AT MY COMPUTER ALL DAY AND NEVER HAVE THAT PROBLEM,AND I WEAR READING GLASSES.
THE SCREEN YOU HAVE HAS A LOT TO DO WITH YOUR VISION AS WELL.
I HAVE A FLAT SCREEN,WITH SCREEN FILTER,TO ELIMINATE HARSH LIGHT,THEREFORE REDUCING EYE STRAIN

Do you have health insurance?

I'll tune up your car for free. But you probably don't want me to, because I know nothing about cars.

Similarly, why would you want a free eye exam? Spend a few dollars -- it's not really that much -- and take very good care of your eyes.

As far as your reading problems, you might need readers, but you should also consider computer glasses:

You could be slightly farsighted. Your vision would be 20/20 because distance isn't affected. May even be better than 20/20 in fact. You accomodation "zoom" allows you to focus close-up, but it has to work harder in a farsighted eye, so it gets tired.

Yes, I think you should get an eye test, and yes you have to pay (even in Canada, unless your are under 18).

i get like this too. maybe try to limit the computer timeeee. i know it sucks! haha.

but go to the doctor before it gets worstttt.
