I left my contact lens in the case without solution...?!

Question: I must have not closed the cover properly because the solution spilled out. My contacts remained inside but it was left there for just about an hour. Can I still use it? I have it soaked right now in the solution. Thanks!

It's probably not in your best interest to use them, as they may be cracked, but if it is your only option, I would use them until you can open a new pair. I once dropped a contact on the floor of my bathroom for a few hours, and when I finally found it it was completely dry and hard. But I soaked it for a few hours, and it went back to normal. I can't see the harm other than a bit discomfort.

Dont use them. When they dry, they begin to crack. Even if you've soaked it now, it will likely irritate your eye, and potentially damage it.

I wouldnt, especially when dealing with your eyes. Start a fresh.

imho this lens are still usefull.

Is not ideal to continue using the contacts as it has 'sunk'. Althought it wil be back into its shape after putting it in the solution for sum time. But dont continue using. Just use a new pair. remeber it is always cheaper to get a pair of contacts then to have to deal with eye realted problem in the later part.

Don't please. they are bound to crack. also, they might be having some minute cracks as a result. be careful next time.
