You shouldn't have any trouble as long as you take care of your contacts (cleaning and storing them properly, disposing of them as prescribed, etc). I have 20/20 vision but wear colored enhancers, and so far I have never forgotten to take them out. I think you will do just fine as long as you take good care of them. Going without vision correction when you need it is the worst thing you can do; it will only make your eyes get worse as they strain harder and harder to see. Don't take a chance on letting your vision get even worse; get to your eye doctor and try out some contacts!

well it is weird at first but you get used to touching the eyething. infection risk is very low if you clean and store them correctly. most contacts you wear during the day and take them out before you go to bed. you wont forget to take them out. and if you did just clean them and store them for the day. i used to wear glasses and couldnt touch my eye but now i am so glad i use contacts.

If your not comfortable with them don't, you can always get glasses for driving, tinted if you don't want people knowing... but nothing will only make things worse.
