How bad is 20/40? how can i improve eyesight?!
Question: 20/40 isn't bad at all. It is usually the minimum of what eye doctors will perscribe glasses. My eyes used to be around that and I never wore my glasses mostly b/c i hated them. I could still see just not a lot of details. I don't think there is anyway to improve your eyesight you will just have to let it get worse, almost everyones does.

20/40 means you can only see 50% of what people with 20/20 vision can see. so if someone can see the board from 10 feet away. you can only see it from 5 feet away. i dont think there's any way to improve, except go to the optometrist every year and make sure you get the right prescription. dont stare at anything too long, look away for a few seconds and come back to it.
20/40 is not bad. There's no way of improving eyesight without surgery.
