Keratoconus question?!
Question: Dear Keratoconus patients/eye doctors,
I have Keratoconus in my left eye, and some people have had DALK surgery to their eye/s.
I would be grateful if you could tell me:
How long I will need to be in hospital for?
How long I need to be away from work?
Thank you in advance

Below is the information on this topic. Hopefully this helps answer any of your questions.
Keratoconus
Poor vision that cannot be corrected fully with glasses may indicate a condition known as conical cornea or keratoconus. A rare condition, keratoconus primarily affects people in their early 20's. With keratoconus, the cornea, the "clear window" at the front of the eye, may become thin and bow outwards. It is this irregular distortion of the cornea that makes vision correction with glasses less than optimal. Mild to moderate keratoconus is best corrected with contact lenses, which provide a smooth surface in front of the cornea, making clear vision possible.
Karatoconus? Didn't she used to be in Atomic Kitten?
