What kind of glasses is this?!

Question: Sorry I couldn't find a picture. But I'll describe it best possible so please try to answer my question at least..

The ones I've seen so far come with thick squarish frames. Usually it had the color black as the frame. And I'm pretty sure at the side of the glasses it had the brand name because it had cursive/scribble writing on it that i couldn't see that well since I was too far away. It's not shades either. Any clue to what kind of glasses they are? Because I really need those.

As an Optician, I have sold many frames- and there are a great deal of frames that match this decription. As I am currently disabled, I don't have access to the "Frame Facts" five-pound book that shows every frame available on earth. I will say that I had a very popular frame that matches your desciption exactly that I loved, (but unfortunately lost while white-water rafting when we went under. Some lucky fish is now wearing them.) They were made by Ray-Ban, who now make ophthalmic (non sunglass) frames. They are a nice, sturdy frame with a cool cursive Ray Ban logo on both side temples. Some of my patients have thought they said "Ray Charles" when that movie had just came out! Their eyes had just been dilated, so go figure. These were zyle (plastic) frames, but I also have a pair in metal that are not as thick, and the logos are very small. Calvin Klein, Fubu, and Versace also make this style, but I believe that the Ray-Bans are the ones you are describing, especially the cursive logo you descibe on the sides. They are a very popular frame and nice looking, plus very reasonably priced compared to all other name brand frames. They are made in Italy and are distributed by a company called Luxxotica (the last time I was working. Sometimes they switch vendors,) who own LensCrafters, so that would be the place that would be the most likely to carry them, as they only sell Luxxotica frames. Good taste! I'll give you a star. Hope you find them.
