I think big ears are better for hearing things - look at rabbits and bats.
As for big eyes - it depends on what you want to see. Big eyes are good for seeing big things a long way away, but small eyes are better for seeing small things close up. It's all to do with resolving power and refraction and things like that.
Big ears are, as they funnel sounds in more efficiently.
Don't know about eyes though.
Probably not - birds have smaller eyes than us but have much better eyesight.
