There are an number of different treatments for wet ARMD, Lucentis is one. Only 10-15% of ARMD is wet. Of those cases, not all would benefit from Lucentis.
Have you been told by a retinal specialist that you would benefit from Lucentis? The doctor should also have prepared a cost estimate for you, as each case is different. Treatment requires monthly injections for 3 to 6 months, then ongoing injections every 2-4 months. The number of treatments you will need depends upon the particulars of your case.
Cost of Lucentis treatment depends very much on where you are and what the doctors there charge to inject it. The cost of the drug alone is well in excess of $1000 per injection, doctors fee would be in addition. Plus there are a number of diagnostic tests that need to be done before injection and on a regular basis afterwards to monitor progress.
If you want a useful answer, you really need to call your retinal specialist and ask.
