When you get contacts, you should try and wear them for brief periods and then increase to get your eyes used to them and not tire you out, or give you headaches. Try an hour a day and add an hour each day until you feel okay.

If they feel uncomfortable however, like you are very aware of them in your eyes, they might be the wrong fit for you.

Please try to increase wearing time, and see if that helps. Initially when I wore contacts they told me to wear them a little every day, even on days I normally wouldn't, to keep my eyes used to them. Good luck!

Also, return to your doctor if this doesn't work. There's a chance the prescription is wrong if your eyes can't adjust.

I tried contacts for a week, but couldn't get used to them. I gave up at that point.

You may have the wrong prescription, or you may need to switch contact brands. I would go to a differenct doctor. If you're on a computer all day, you could try wearing "computer glasses." I had to get some and they definitely help with fatigue and headaches.

well maybe u should get your doctor 2 prescribe u some type of eyes drops that will help and practice putting them on, also use the solution they give u all the time for your contacts because sometimes when your contacts are dirty they can hurt u
good luck :)

Did you use a trial pare before? Becuase this happend to me. My first trial pair was such a pain, so I switched contact brands. You *might* be putting them in the wrong eye, or inside out too.

Maybe contacts just are not right for you, they do not work with everyone.

Just wait a few days. You'll get used to them. All of that is normal. After a while it'll feel like they aren't even there

=D
