When I rub my eye, there's a squishing sound?!

Question: This only happens when I rub my left eye. What's going on? Does this happen to anyone else, and why does it only happen to one eye?

We have little openings at the nasal sides of our eye lids where the tears drain through to our nasal cavity (that's why we get a stuffed nose when we cry). I think that the noise is coming from a force of fluid/air through that when you are rubbing. There may be a slight anatomical variation between your ducts that makes it occur on one side only, and it doesn't happen to everyone either.

But nothing to worry about!

THAT HAPPENS TO ME ALL THE TIME
i think its prolly just air or something lol
i dont think its bad....i hope =D

It's perfectly normal.

I get that in both of my eyes.

I think it's just the air coming out of our eye cavities when we apply pressure. Nothing to worry about.

This is normal....it's your eye being moved around. It's not good to rub your eyes....the skin around your eye is very sensitive....you can get little wrinkes around the eye causing you to look older.
