How do you take the redness out of an eye?!

Question: I'm not letting myself sleep. Where I am right now it's 1:32 AM and my eyes are looking red. Some people are asking me why and it's because I don't feel like the mood to sleep. So besides sleeping, how else do I makes my eyes look better?

I'm not in the mood for sleeping, If I could, I'd use someone's make up that matches my skin tone, but I can't for two reasons.

1. Make up is irritative to your eye.
2. I don't want to be a guy where make up.

So because I'm not tired, I don't want make up, and I want to stop rubbing at it.

And I know it's not an allergic reaction because there's nothing around me that I am allergic to currently.

visine of course! just don't make a habit of it b/c i've heard that if used daily for long periods of time it can cause dryness in your eyes which would suck. also try putting ice packs or soak bags of chamomile tea and put them on ur eye sockets.

Get some eye drops. There are ones that are for redness reduction. Just look at the box to pick the right one for you.

Visine eye drops work the best. They wear off every couple of hours, but they give really quick results for a simple over-the-counter relief aid.

clear eyes.

all the stoners use it ;-)
so it must work!

who cares if your eyes are red. if you sleep they wont be red in the morning

Use an over the counter product called Visine when you are going out in public and just to give the appearance of "rested" eyes, apply a washcloth wet with cold water across your eyes for about 10-15 minutes that should do the trick.

eye drops like Clear Eyes will help, any eye drops with the words 'reduces redness' will help.

Consult a doc.

You ABSOLUTELY NEED AND MUST go to bed !!!!!!!!!!!
Your body (eyes & other organs are SUFFERING!!!!!!). yOU, AS MOST OTHER KIDS ARE PROBABLY TAKING IN WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY TOO MUCH caffeine during the day & evening and that's probably what's keeping wide awake & not in the mood to sleep! But not getting 9 regular hours of sleep each night will cause you to lose many years of your life -- you WILL DIE way B4 YOUR TIME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your body is a temple, you must care for it !!!!!!!!!!!
First stop drinking all beverages that contain caffeine. If you are a heavy drinker of caffeine drinks try limiting caffeine, taper off slowly, dont drink any after 3PM !!!
Take a warm soak in the tub & let it relax you for about 15minutes.
Go to bed at the same time each night, whether or not you are sleepy ! Find a book or magazine that you enjoy & buy a tiny book light to clip on to it as room light interupts your internal clock! Turn off all TVs, VCRs, DVDs, PCs, etc. If you need some "white"noise get a "soothing sounds" CD or turn your radio to an all "soft music" channel that has no commercials or chit-chat as those will infiltrate your mind as you sleep & you get a proper sleep !!!
If you can fall asleep w/o the books/mags & tiny light -- all the better.
You will probably find this difficult for the 1st 3 to 4 days, but your body & mind will soon catch on and you will fall asleep just as you did when you were a young child. Remember back -- I bet you parents bathed you & put you to bed in a dark room at the same time each night, perhaps reading to you by soft light. If this wasnt exactly your life, you were still probably sent to bed about the same time eacch night w/o lts., TV, PC, etc. and you probably fell asleep very soon thereafter.
If you need to relax a bit more make some calomine tea to drink along with your bath.
Best of luck & sweet dreams !!!!
