Extended wear contacts?!
Question: I'm thinking about getting these, but want to know how people who have them like them. My girlfriend has had them for years and she loves them. I have had gas perms for many years, but would love the convenience of extended wear lenses. I tried soft contacts once and had a terrible time with them. They hurt my eyes and I couldn't wear them. Never had any problems with the gas perms though.

The convenience of extended wear is highly over-rated, in my view. It's just so darn easy to care for contact these days, with one-bottle care products, that taking them out every day is no big deal to me.
I have extended wear contacts and I take advantage of that feature occasionally -- like on a weekend camping trip. Otherwise, I take them out every night even though I don't have to, and my eyes feel better for it.
My advice is, if you like RGPs, stick with them! They have a lot of advantages, not the least of which is when you get to the age when you need bifocal contacts, the RGP bifocals are so much better than the soft bifocals.
You're lucky to be comfortable in RGPs; not everyone is. Enjoy that privilege!
Extended wear lenses are the best i had ever tired. Ask ur optical shop for a trial pair soon.
