LOL THE GUY THAT SAID SOMETHING FLEW IN UR EYE IS CLUELESS (sorry) but... I had the same problem in a finger..it went away after 2 weeks. But its probably just a muscle spasm..^^ Hope it gets better =D

mabe something flew in your eye when you were eating a fruit

the no. one cause for an eye twitch, or myocemia, is stress or anxiety. This can be eye stress, like the need for eyeglasses or treatment, or it can be enviromental stress, like what is going on in your life. Try using artificial tears to see if you can soothe the eye. If you are fatiqued, get more rest. If nothing helps, get an eye exam to rule out the need for glasses or some other problem. It is a common problem.

This happened to me a lot too. And the problem was that I hadn't be getting enough sleep and lately I had slept at odd hours. Perhaps this is the reason for your issue as well? Many of my friends and family have this problem b/c of lack of sleep.

It's just a nerve that's gone haywire. You just kind of have to deal with it for a few days and it will go away on its own in sweet time.

Don't sit too close to the screen. Once in a while, get up and stretch your legs and relax your eyes.

Fatigue and stress, principally.
There's a lot of it about as, with the search function, "Eye twitch " has been asked 1,637 times on Y!A, never mind variations.

The answer, correct though it is, "try to cultivate a more relaxed lifestyle " doesn't often go down well.

Sometimes the twitch is facilitated by and points to slightly low potassium levels.
Try drinking fresh tomato juice or eating bananas.
