Swollen Eyelid!?!
Question: My eyelid is swollen along my lash line on my left eye. Whats happening???
I did wear mascara a few days ago (I usually dont wear it).. If that has to do anything with it.

you might be allergic to that speicific brand of mascara. put some ice pack or cold tea bags on your eye.:)
It might - it could be ecezema if the eyelid swells then cracks & could ooze.
Right now take a warm wet tea bag over your eye to reduce puffiness
Is it tender to touch? It may be an internal or external stye. Try warm compresses for 15 min.'s twice daily. You may need an eye antibiotic ointment to apply inside the eye as well. If the whole eye is swollen, it may also be a preceptual cellulitis which requires an oral antibiotic as well as sometimes topical treatment as well. It could also just be an allergic reaction or atopic dermatitis. Did it itch alot and still itch? If it does, it may then require cool comp.'s and an allery drop like zaditor that you can buy at the store. If it is painful or affecting your whole eyelid, you really need an exam to rule out cellulitis. This can be a not so good thing. It need treatment.Good luck
