What does it mean when the bottom eye lid has spasms ?!

Question: There's tons of it about!
I've answered this (strike four, insert five) times today, and the "Eye twitch" total on Y!A search has climbed to1,640.

It's fatigue and stress, principally.

The answer, correct though it is, "try to cultivate a more relaxed lifestyle " doesn't often go down well.

Sometimes the twitch is facilitated by and points to slightly low potassium levels.
Try drinking fresh tomato juice or eating bananas.

I have been having this problem for a few weeks now myself! But, for me, it's the top eye lid. I think it has to do with stress and lack of sleep. I believe it's only just a muscle spasm

It means that is is time to lay off the pcp

A lot of times it will happen to me if I am stressed. It could also be to much salt in your diet.

It could be stress, fatigue, or too much caffeine.

tired and stressed. get some sleep.

You are stressed and haven't been getting your rest!

Do you mean like a nerve twitching in the eye lid..I think you do..It means there is a nerve twitching lol!!

I believe it means you need to get your eyes checked, to see if you need glasses. Seriously, my bf had the same thing and he went to the eye doctor and he had to get glasses

It means your going through alot of stress some relaxation will do you good

I don't know about the bottom eyelid spasming, but I personally have had my upper eye lid spasm from time to time, and it seems to be related to either not getting enough sleep the night before or anxiety. I don't always have an awareness that I was anxious about anything specific, but all of us have things that we feel anxiety over, it is just a matter of degree.

Ultimately, if you are still able to function day to day with the spasm's then I wouldn't be too concerned.

I've had this happen rare times in my life, but specifically and chronically when I was on Buspar or Trazedone, I don't remember wish.

Certain psychotropic medications can cause an effect such as this.

If not, chill out, and get some sleep, it's probably just a twitch. If it accompanies a big headache on the left side of your head though, get to the hospital, as a stroke can affect left parts of your body and can be minimized if you go to the hospital.

I've had this problem off and on for many years. Like what most others have said, It's just mainly stress and lack of sleep. It's nothing to worry about.

high cholestrol

It sounds like you have a twitch, which means you need more sleep! Eye twitches mean your tired :-)
