To all Acuvue Oasys lens wearers?!

Question: If any of you wore Acuvue 2 lenses before, and then switched to Oasys, did you have any problems? Were they better for you or worse? I've been on Acuvue 2 for 7 years (wow that long already...) and I just went to the doc today for a new eye exam. He didn't have any trial lenses of 2's available so he said "Hmm let's try Oasys" and said if I like them and they fit well, he could switch my contacts (I realize they're more expensive). Just wondering if you switched and how it worked out for you. Thanks!

Hey, I was an Accuvue 2 lense wearer for 2 years. Let me preclude that my eyes are not sensitive, nor do my eyes generally dry out with prolonged wear. My doc switched me to Oasys in Jan 2007. I have had no problems, and find them very comfortable. I just had an exam, and am on my second year of them. Let me note by saying that I had no problem with the Accuvue, outside of the fact that they would start to blur after a long day (12 hours +) of wear. Doc attributed this to loss of moisture, although I never felt they were dry. He thought that the Oasys may stay moist longer when it came to a long day of wear. I haven't had the blur problem since. Good product!

I work at an eye doctor and we switch patients from Acuvue 2 to Oasys all the time. They are deffinately a better lens if you can afford the price difference. They keep your eyes from drying out as easily as Acuvue 2, your eyes can "breathe" easier, and they have even been approved for sleeping in (although its healthier for your eyes to not sleep in contacts at all)! Check out the site to see the other benefits of the Oasys!

Yah the oasis is really good. try it out asap.
