Eye Twitching!!?!

Question: For a couple weeks or so, my right eye has been twitching like crazy!! Its almost non-stop!
I've heard that eye twitching is caused from lack of sleep, too much caffiene, or stress.
I should also mention that I have intralase lasik eye surgery about a month and half ago!

Thanks in advance!

I would suggest going to the doctor.

I nearly had a car accident which caused my eye to start twitching for hours and hours.. obviously nowhere near as long as yours.
I went to see a nurse to ask if there was any way to stop it and she said it would either stop on its own - or - if it hadn't stopped the next day, to go back and see her.

I would tell you to go to the doctors since it's been going on for so long. Could well be related to the eye surgery.

oh wow you should go to the doctor

Drink plenty of water

Check back with your surgeon, however I have the same problem occassionally...from eye strain, they say.

I always get that from stress. Try deep breathing and relaxing.

you are right! that is the reason.. Just take a brake for a while, in a quiet romm or somewhere, then just relaxxxxxx....zzzzzzzzzzzz.

hmmmm
well
that would suck XD
go see ur doctor
they can answer that better then i can

I suppose you have to get used to your new refractive situation, and maybe also coffee, lack of sleep and stress doesn't help your eyes to find accomodation easily. Anyway I think you should call your oculist and tell him about your symptom.
Have a nice day.

the surgical operation may or may not be the cause. If your surgeon approves do 'suryanamaskar'and meditation for a week or so. you can expect encouraging results. But dont do it without your surgeon's nod.

yo girl this always happens to me. i advise that you seek help from your local shamman or fortune teller

There's tons of it about!
I've answered this four times today, and the "Eye twitch" total on Y!A search has climbed to1,640.

It's fatigue and stress, principally.

The answer, correct though it is, "try to cultivate a more relaxed lifestyle " doesn't often go down well.

Sometimes the twitch is facilitated by and points to slightly low potassium levels.
Try drinking fresh tomato juice or eating bananas.
