When I had it last, someone asked if I had been crying. I had no clue. There was no pain or itching, just these RED eyes. Eyedrops & 3 days off work (I am a CNA, & pink eye is VERY contagious!!) Doctor said there are 2 types, one involves itching & discharge, the other is just the redness. WASH HANDS BEFORE & AFTER EVERYTHING YOU DO!!!! Good luck!
