If your doctor already gave you a pair to try, and you love them then I don't see any reason why you wouldn't be 100% successful with them. At your 1 week check-up, they will check the movement of the lenses to make sure they are fitting properly, and they will check your vision with them on. So if everything looks good, and your Optometrist is happy, and you are happy, then go ahead and order some.

Remember, even though you will primarily wear your contacts, you still should get a decent pair of glasses to wear. You should give your eyes a break from the lenses several times a month to let your eyes breathe. And also, with contact lens wear, comes the risk of infection and if you do contract something or you have some other issues arise where you cannot wear the lenses, you will need a pair of glasses to wear in the mean time while you heal.

Good luck!

Yes, your prescription is perfect for contact lenses - and you have tried them and have seen that for yourself. Go for it!

It doesn't really matter what the prescription is/how strong it is. Your prescription is average and normal for contact-wearers. What matters is if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contacts. If you find the contacts to be clearer (and most people do because it gives you peripheral vision, and they don't get smudgy/dirty like glasses), go for it, as long as you talk to your optometrist, and they give you the okay.
