How blurry should your vision be when wearing contact lenses?!

Question: I'm trying out contacts for the first time and they're a bit blurrier than my glasses were (which is supposed to me normal, the doctor says).

However, he gave me one brand of contact for my left eye and another brand for my right eye. As far as I know, both eyes should be of the same prescription. Is this common, wearing different brands during the contact fitting trial period? Is it weird if I see better through one eye than the other, even though both eyes are slightly blurry?

The link to my glasses prescription is here:

Thanks!!

Do you have astigmatism? If so, your vision will never be 100% crystal clear with contact lenses, unless you get toric lenses.

But yes, I do remember my vision being a bit blurrier than normal when I first got my contacts. If I remember, it only lasted a couple of days.

I didn't get two different brands, though.

not blurry at all after a few days.

wow, you should be seeing better than that! It is not uncommon for a Doctor to have to try two different lenses on yoiur trial period- just be patient- toric contact Rx's make take a couple of tries to get a lens/Rx that you like.
