Are conatcts good for my friend?!
Question: only 14 nearly 15 my friend wants to wear conatcts & was asking weather they would be okay to wear to corrrect her vision, can the slip back?, wreck your eyes etc...

I started wearing contact lenses at the age of 14, I'm nearly 22 now and I still wear them everyday. I have had my problems with them though, but on the whole I couldnt be without them. My eyesight is that poor, that without wearing my lenses I wouldnt be able to apply make up ect. I also ride horses and find glasses inconvenient. The best advice I can offer, is to make sure your hands are always clean, and that you look after your lenses well. The worst thing that could happen, is that the lenses may tear in your eye and it can be a little difficult trying to get half a lense out. Apart from that, they are fantastic and have changed my life for the better :)
I wear contacts and glasses, depending on how I feel. I haven't had any problems and it oly took half an hour to practise putting them in and taking them out.
