OMG! EYE DoCTORS PLEASE HELP ME?!

Question: ok I was just outside and I was trying to break some ice that was over some stagnent water. I have no clue what is in the water but it has just been sitting there not moving since like last year so its probably dirty. Well anyways I got a lot of it splshed up into my eyes and I am afraid it will affect them. Should my eyes be ok. I put some Visine in them and they seem ok but I am so scared. I got a lot of the water in my eyes please help!

Rinsing out your eyes is good. If you have saline or even contact lens solution you can clean out your eyes for approximately 15 minutes. You should be okay after. Pay close attention the next morning. If you have crusting of the lids, mucous in yellow or green discharge you should call your eye doctor right away and get it looked at.

im no doctor, but try crying to clear the tear ducts and call ur doc asap. you should be ok tho,

Just wash your face and rinse your eyes with sterile saline solution. you should be fine.

They are self cleaning. We get dirty, gross water in our eyes every time we go swimming. Especially in a lake or river!
