My eyes??!!!?!

Question: I have been gettign some sort of sty or hive around the bottom lids of my eyes. It begins to itch and then it blows up...it looks most like a blister or hive. This has happened 3 times in one week. What could it be?? I made an eye doctors appointment this week, but i just woke up and felt one. Please advise....thanks.

Probably a sty. Try not to rub or pop it. Apply moist heat several times a day. Also, get rid of all makeup over 6 months old and replace mascara and eye pencils. If you rub it or pop it, it will spread and you may need antibiotics.

sounds like a sty...i've had a few of them...there caused by a lack of sleep...

Go see your docter anyways and he can perscribe you some creme or antibiotics...

3 times in one week is quite uncommon so deff go and get a professionals opinion..

good luck!!

I get those from time to time as well. They are called a stye. It's basically just fluid build up that really has no where to go. Unfortunately, they look gross and can turn red and swell up. Your doing the right thing though. I think your optometrist will give you some sort of eye drops. I know that's what my eye doctor gave me. Within a day or two, they should be gone. I know they are soooo annoying, but the drops will help! Bye

As far as I am aware, styes do NOT itch. If the bump hurts, it is probably a stye. I'm wasn't sure if you are female or male, but if you wear makeup, have you changed makeup recently and possibly be having an allergic reaction? Always a good idea to see an eye doctor so good call on that.

for your eyes only....
