Question: The pus is like a mix between sleepy and bugers. and it is a yellow color. My eye hurts. What is the problem and how serious is this? I don't want answers that only say "go to a doctor" thanks.

Its pink eye if your eye is red, or "Pink." Blood-shot in other words. Antibiotic ointment, from your doctor, will make it heal faster.
It probably is a sinus infection from your cold. Having all that mucous in your nose and nasal cavity was a breeding ground for bacteria. The yellow pus is your body's way of trying to get rid of the bacteria.
Most likely this will go away on its own, but if it doesn't, the infection can turn into something worse. Get lots of rest, lots of fluids, don't touch your eye, and wash your hands often.
Sounds like you have pink eye (conjunctivitis). It is usually caused by a virus--the same viruses that cause the common cold. Try washing your your eyes every hour with warm water.
It will go away in 3-10 days with or without treatment. The treatment is usually antibiotic drops--which don't do a thing for a viral infections. It is very contagious so don't clean one eye and use the same wash cloth to clean the other one or you'll spread it to your other eye. It spreads pretty easily from person to person too so wash your hands with soap and water every time you touch your face.
Sounds like bacterial conjunctivitis, unfortunately that means it is serious enough to "go to an eye doctor" pronto! Left untreated with antibiotics you would end up with a redder eye, more mucous and more pus. Usually a viral conjunctivitis is watery and does not contain a yellow discharge. If you have a colored discharge like yellow or green more often than not it is a bacterial conjunctivitis.
sounds like you might have pink eye. or it could be something else. but ive had pink eye before and how you described that you have pus in your eye and stuff thats how it was when i had it. but i could be wrong. if your eye looks swollen too it might be. but to know for sure, i would go to a doctor. i know you said you dont want answers that just say go to the doctor but if it turns out to be pink eye you'll need antibiotics to cure it.
