Is 1.5 eye number a huge number?? can it be reduced??!

Question: No. + or - 1.50 is not bad at all, considering there are folks who are + or - 13.00 or 15.00. Your eyes are worse than mine, but a person with ten or twelve times your prescription would be THRILLED about having that. They'd trade eye balls with you anyday.

It really cannot be reduced, unless you were to have some type of refractive surgery, which you wouldn't be eligible until 18, at the very earliest, and early 20's for some some people. Eating all the veggies in the world really won't help the vision in your eyes, but it will maintain the health of the eye and decrease your risk of developing certain diseases of the eye. Carrots do not make your vision better...that's an old wives tale.

And I think you would have limited success with eye excersises, since the refractive error has to do with the anatomy of the eye, not the muscles. When you need glasses it is because your eye ball is either too long, too short, or your cornea is shaped incorrectly. All the excercises in the world cannot change the anatomy of the eye. A pair of glasses or contacts will bend the light to compensate for the imperfections in the anatomy of the eye to produce a clear image on the retina.
