I had it done for $999/eye special. Check with your insurance company because without the special, I could have had it was either 10% or 15% off. It definately is something to check into and I would definately recommend having it done because you feel free without having to wear glasses or contact lenses.

You can do it 500 an eye

my husband had one eye done + 2 years of follow up visits for $1099.00

it depends on where you go and which procedure they perform on you. my mom got hers for $700 per eye, but it varies

eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew...

...its called contacts my dear... 6 years running.....

its a couple hundred per eye.. i've seen as low as 250$$ per eye

Most insurance companies will cover it. You need to look at your insurance policy that you have. Then you would need to know how much your deductible and coinsurance is. Also you need to find out if your insurance has a 4th quarter carry-over which means if you met your deductible in 2007 the last 4 quarters then that can carry over, which means you will only have to pay your coinsurance.

I got it done for 4 thousand dollars. I decided I'm not going to a cheap place when I'm dealing with my eyesight. It was the best money I ever spent. The only problem is that sometimes when I'm driving at night I see halos around lights. It's usually not noticeable, but can be annoying once in awhile. I'm still 100% glad I had it done though even in spite of this small side effect.

Call different ophthalmologist and find out how much and also if you insurance will cover, is becoming less expensive because more people are doing this. Do research is my best advice. Good luck.

I PAID 3400 TO 3600 BUT ITS WORTH IT. IT ALSO DEPENDS ON YOUR EYESIGHT ON HOW MUCH THEY WOULD CHARGE. YES YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY MIGHT BE ABLE TO COVER IT BUT YOU MIGHT WANT TO LOOK INTO IT AND FIND OUT FOR SURE BEFORE YOU END UP PAYING FOR IT AFTER THEY TELL YOU THAT THEY DO COVER IT.

I paid $2000 per eye and went to the best place in town with the newest laser (allegretto). They do lifetime enhancements if my eyesight ever goes below 20/40. I would never go somewhere that charges under $700 an eye. That is what is called a chop shop and I would rather go in debt than risk my eyesight.

There are NO insurance plans that cover this surgery right now. They may offer discounts to certain surgery centers.
