I am getting contacts in the next month.Do they hurt? What brand do you recommen!

Question: Acuvue Oasis. No they don't hurt, they can become a bit uncomfortable while you are getting use to them and when you wear them for extended periods of time. Don't fall asleep with them in though or your eyes will hurt when you wake up.

Nope, they do not hurt. You may have a hard time putting them in at first though...it feels funny touching your eyes. After awhile you will be an old pro at it! The eye doctor will recommend which brand is right for you, I use SoftLens 66, but I have toric lenses bc of astigmatism. I have tried the lenses that allow you to sleep with them in your eyes but they are horrible I really don't like them, my husband didn't either.

They are a doddle to wear. You will be surprised and thrilled with them. I promise. I have had contacts for 40 years (honestly), starting off with hard ones. They were awful. I suffered with those for years, but vanity made me carry on with them. Then along came soft lenses - oh, what an improvement. Bliss. I use Focus Dailies at the moment, but they are all very much of a sameness.

they dont hurt if you get acuvue 2 or acuvue oasis the crappy part is you cant sleep in them for more then 2 nights and they burn like a sob when they need to be replaced

No they doesnt hurt at all. Bausch&lomb,Ciba vision, coopervison, acv lenses are one of the best in the market with references to silicon lenses.
