I'd like to know which is better Acuvue 2 or Acuvue Advanced, and what's!

Question: I'd like to know which is better Acuvue 2 or Acuvue Advanced, and what's the difference? I wanted to get Acuvue Oasys contacts, but I'm afraid they're not available where I live, so I have a choice between Acuvue 2 and Acuvue Advanced. I wear my contacts all day long, so it's 'constant use'.

I've worn Acuvue 2 lenses for something like five years, and I just got some Acuvue Advanced. I think the increased price is a bit unnecessary, but they feel thinner and more gel-like 9and therefore, somewhat more comfortable)... but I've noticed that the edges of these trial lenses already have little "chips" or "chunks" taken out of them, and when I take them out of my eyes or the case, they seem to become easily "creased" or "folded", even with the most ginger of handling. Needless to say, I'll be speaking with the people at the optical center to make sure this isn't going to be a recurring problem... and possibly going to back to Acuvue 2s until the price comes down.

Acv advanced has better wearing comfort as compared to acv 2. It claims to be better than acv 2 but it depends on the user eyes. Oasys are better than advanced.

It's not a matter of which is better? They both have a good place in the market. It all depends on the wearers needs. For example, for a wearer that has dry eyes, or like you who wears the contacts constantly, then Oasys or Advance would be a more likely contact for you. But, ultimately only you can answer that question by wearing them. Keep in mind these are disposable lenses. What you should do is ask your Doctor, when you go in for your eye-exam, to fit you with trials for both lenses, and then based on your own lifestyle and activities, you will be able to determine which will be a better lens for you. Then you can answer you own question, if paying the extra money for the Oasys or Advance lenses will be worth it? Your Optician-kikisgiftshop.com
