Help Acuvue Oasys making my eyes red?!
Question: ok so here is the story, i had been wearing freshlooks colorblends contacts and i was overwearing them, so i went to my doctor and he said that i had an infection because of the cause of not enough oxygen into my eyes, and he gave my Bausch & Lomb Lotemax eyedrops for 1 week, and my eyes were almost perfect the next week he checked my eyes my right was 100 percent and my left eye was 90 percent, so that day he told me to go for a better contact like acuvue oasys that breathe in 103 percent oxygen into my eye, so he gave me a pair that same day and i've been wearing them for only work and afterwards i use my glasses but after taking them out today my eyes are irritaded and red like before. I dont understand because this contacts breathe in more oxygen whey do i still have this problem? By the way i've been wearing them for about a week now?

I did the same thing and am now wearing the Oasys lenses as well. Your eye is probably still healling from the infection - but to be on the safe side -- call your doctor.
might be an allergic reaction, sometimes different contacts have had different effects on me (i.e. eye inflamation, dryness, etc.) Try not wearing the contacts for a couple days and see if your eye clears up, if not go see your optometrist again
that happens to me and i wear Acuvue Oasys, maybe your eyes get dry too much, thats what happens to mine, after i take them out i put redness reliever eye drops! and it works
Maybe becos the lense is not suitable for ur eyes. Althought it does provide more oxygen flow, it might not be suitable for everyone. Check with the eye doc will confirm everything
