If you wear contact lenses do your eyes eventually get smaller?!

Question: If you wear lenses, do your eyes shrink over time? Or do they look any different over time?
Thanks.

Absolutely not. The eye does not change size unless there is a rare pathological disease contracted, in which case the eye can shrink. This can sometimes be caused by some very resistant strains of herpes viruses, but not by contact lenses themselves. I am curious as to where you got this idea.

they actually gt bigger because you will have a better vision and you will not squint to adapt.. but if you are uncomfortable with your contact you might because of constant problems, irritation etc.. start damaging your eyes, squint more, itch rub your eyes, etc

No, the eys actually become bigger and the degree will become stable or will increase lesser.

NO, where did you hear that load of crap?

no, not at all. i have been wearing contacts for about 3 years now and my eyes haven't shrunk. i dont think that's possible. there hasn't been any change in my eyes, but maybe they look bigger because i'm not squinting but that's not a side effect of contacts. your eyes shrinking because you wear contacts is totally untrue.

No they may look more glossy, but that's all good, because that highlights your eyes
