Hard Contact lens not used for some time?!
Question: I have hard contact lenses that I didn't use for quit some time (2 years now), However they were soaked in the soaking solution, but didn't clean them for the past period. My question is, Is it O.K to clean them with the necessary solution, then soak them now then put them in the eyes? Thanks for your help

If the lenses wear cleaned well BEFORE you stored them and were NEVER allowed to dry in the case during storage then the lenses are probably in pretty good shape. If not, it is possible there could be some deposits on the lenses or the lenses may be warped.
One thing to think about, though. Since it has been two years since you last wore them then it may actually be even longer since the examination to fit them was performed. So it is quite possible that the lenses may not fit you as well as they used to if the shape of your cornea has changed over the last few years.
I think it is best to take the lenses in with you for a contact lens exam and let the doc look at them. He will be able to tell you if it is safe to use them.
EDIT: Yes, it is possible to get all the information in regard to the fit of the contact lens by examining just the lens. BUT, this does not tell you anything as to whether the contact lens is still an appropriate fit for your eye. So, in order to get a WRITTEN PRESCRIPTION (that is what will be necessary for a lab to make a pair of contacts for you) you will still need to go in and have a doctor assess whether the contact lens you have is appropriate for you still.
