I think i need contacts? my eyes suck.?!

Question: i am 14 and i am pretty sure i need contacts.
i have a slight nearsightedness & its not horrible vision, but it seems to be getting worse and the eye doctor said that as i get older, it may get worser.
i have glass but i hardly ever wear them because they are very annoying and i hate to wear them.
i am very active and when i look outside i feel like i am missing out because i can't see everything everyone else can like every leaf on a tree. & my eyes kinda feel weird when i try to look far distances.

anyone have contacts or know someone who has them?
should i get them?
& how do they feel & are they hard to take care of?

thank you so much to all that answer.
i really appretiate it.

???

Contacts are great. Once you get used to them, they are super comfortable to wear, and you don't have to worry about them slipping or falling off like you would if you got glasses. They aren't really hard to take care of...you just need to be sure you clean them well, store them in the contact case with solution when they aren't in your eyes, and change them as directed by your doctor.

If you go get an eye exam, and the doctor approves you for wearing contacts...he will send you home with a trial pair to try out before actually ordering any contacts. This would be a great way for you to try them out, and see if contacts are for you.
