Je ne parle pas francais mais,
it sounds like you are an alternating esotrope with amblyopia of the left eye. With a full correction you may be able to get binocular vision. Ask your doctor.
you are probably right eye dominate, which is why you feel you can get by without glasses. In the US Army, during basic rifle markmanship, they have you put one finger up in front of your eyes and close one eye at a time. The eye in which the finger does not move is your dominate eye, and this is how they determine which eye you will use to line up your crosshairs (aim) on your weapon.
Binocular vision is three grades:
1-Simultaneous perception.
2-Fusion.
3-Stereopsis.
Each grade has special tests, and all grades can be checked up by a synoptophore.
