Any types of glasses that don't weigh a thing? i need the lightest kind!?!
Question: my mom needs glasses (she's nearsighted) and she wants the kind that don't weigh a thing. she needs the lightest kind, as opposed to the conventional specs there are. do any of you guys know the kind i'm talking about? if so, do they go by a specific name, or better yet, can you link me? thanks.

I recommend Silhouette frames. They are very high quality drill mounts. They're a little pricey, and her lenses will cost more, but they are the lightest frames you can get

Try frames made of titanium and ask the optician to make the lens out of the lightest material.
If you go to reputable opticians, and tell them your needs, you'll find that they have a lot of options out there--but some of them are expensive.
I've been wearing glasses for 45 years and would be wearing coke type lenses if I weren't so vain. The frames are of titanium and the lens are graduated bifocal anti reflection, plastic so the whole thing is very light.
