Small eyes..help with contacts?!
Question: Just prescribed contacts, hate glasses.
I know HOW to put them in but my eyes are so small that they wont! I know you put it on your index finger and hold it open with the other hand or whatever. But...
Give me some tricks or secrets? Tips? PLEASE?

A lot of people have to use a mirror to put them in but I don't. I just look straight into the contact lens till they set on my eye. Now of course you have to do this without blinking so..
I have the contact on my finger next to my thumb.
I hold down my bottom part of my eye with my middle finger on the same hand I am holding my contact lens.
I use my left hand and my finger next to my thumb to hold up my eye lid so I cannot blink.
Now if you cannot look straight into the contact lens then look down into a mirror and hold your eye straight and look straight.
I hope I have helped. I am fifty five now and have been wearing them since I was thirteen and I know how you feel about hating glasses. Oh yes now if you have a hard time getting them in I hope you do not have a hard time taking them out! BE sure to be over a sink with the drain closed and be sure to open your eye really wide and look straight down and pull out the corner of your eye with your finger next to your thumb. You can use a mirror for this too but you have to be careful that the contact does not fly off so... be sure to cup your hand around your eye when taking them out so you will not lose them. They are really hard to find!
