What does it mean when I have blinking lights in my eyes?!
Question: I have a string of what looks like christmas tree lights in my vision and it usually starts with a spot then opens up to a half circle and then slowly moves across my eye. It flashes and makes it hard to see. Sometimes I get a headache and queasy tummy with it too.

I used to get that all the time. They're called "flashers" and it's an optical migraine. I freaked out when it first happened, convinced I was going crazy, I did a bit of research but then did wind up going to an eye doctor. I included a link from Health Central.

it's mostly the aura that precedes migraine attack.
I just had that yesterday, it doesn't happen often to me, but i wonder what it is as well, sorry i couldn't help, but i'll be checking your question for the answer, it's friggin weird
