Which contacts are best for me? And how much will they cost?!
Question: I've been wearing glasses for a 1 and a half and i hate them. I want to get contacts. I've never used contacts before. I want to know if they will work like the glasses do. Because i can't see from far i have myopia. And the price of getting the best contacts out there.

I would suggest going to an eye doctor and having an exam. Contacts work just as well as glasses.
I love my contacts and it just depends on your strength and if your eyes get dryed out fast. I love acuve clear
Get colored contacts. or regular ones. they do work like glasses, i think glasses are more of a hassel cause they fall down constantly but you do have to get used to contacts
As for the best contacts for you, you will probably need to ask your eye doctor. My mother, my sister, many of my friends and I, myself, have all worn Acuvue for years and all have had no problems with them.
As for pricing, DO NOT buy from your eye doctor as they will be way more expensive. Do an internet search and find the cheapest price you can find for the contacts you want and then go to 1800contacts.com (you will actually have to call them) and they will beat any competitor's price by 2%. You can save a lot of dough! I just got 6 months worth of my contacts for about half price by going this route...

You should get hard contacts because they prevent your eyes from getting worse. Soft contacts are just like glasses; eventually, you're prescription will become worse. I've been wearing the same hard contacts for two years without an updated prescription. However, hard contacts are extremely expensive and hard to take care of. As far as color, get clear. They look exactly the same as if you didn't have them on.
