Why do my eyes hurt in bright lights?!

Question: I am having a problem whenever a bright light is turned on.

My living room light is very bright to me, but my family says it is not. Sometimes my eyes hurt in the sunlight, but that's because sunlight hurts everyones eyes.

I think my house either have bright lights, or it is my eyes

You have big pupils, they take in more light

It may mean you have sensitive to light eyes or it may mean you pupils contract more amount of light than what its needed
