Question: does anyone know the vision type that doesn't allow you to drive ?? the border line like for example you are legally blind at 20/200..how blind do you have to be to not be able to drive??went to the doctor to get an i exam and they told me that by next year i wouldn't be able to drive because of my eyesight...can anyone explain?

If both of your eyes are working, you have to have vision of 20/70 in both eyes. If one eye is blind the remaining eye can drive as long as it's 20/40. The other disqualification is if you have a visual field of less than 20 derees
20/40 in both eyes, if you have 20/20 in the right eye and 20/200 inth the left, you will be able to obtain a drivers license
