Buy contacts online without an up to date Rx?!
Question: I want to purchase contacts online but my rx is about 2 years old... Are there any sites where I can buy them without a valid rx? Please help!

By law a contact lens patient needs to be seen once every year... if a company or doctors office sells contacts to a patient without a valid Rx, they are held liable.
ALL online contact lens companies WILL verify with your doctor that the Rx is valid. If it isnt, then the company will either call or e-mail you stating its time for you to be seen again, that your Rx is invalid.
You dont want to mess around with your eyes, especially if its something that sits directly on your cornea. Please go get an exam.

I do not know of a company that will sell you contacts that are prescriptions unless you have an up to date prescription. I wish they did, sucks going in. lol
I don't think there is any site or doctor who would fill an outdated RX. With contacts, there is so much that could go wrong because the lens sits on the eye, that it's federal law that you can't fill an RX over one year old. It is in your best interest to see a optometrist.
