Is Water Bad For The Eyes, I mean From The Tap?!
Question: Tap water is OK only in the following cases:
-You are NOT wearing contact lenses, as the contacts (soft only) can absorb everything in the water, including bacteria
-You do not have a corneal abbrasion or any other corneal condition/surgury where the cornea may be altered in anyway.
Recently found in tap water, sewage water, and soil is a parasite called Acanthemeba. (sp?)
This parasite is VERY PAINFUL, and VERY HARMFUL to the corneal surface, and is very hard to get rid of.... Some cases patients needed a corneal transplant.
So, if you dont wear contacts or have any past surgeries or abbrasions, Tap water is ok... But if in doubt, dont do it.
Hope I helped! =)

probably i would think so.
probably not because we can drink from it so it should be ok
I drink it all the time, and i don't think my eyesight is bad, but i do have a well.
Did you fill your swimming pool with bottled water?
Did you put acid in the water.
then no.
not even a little, though it may sting.
No I dont think so, But it does feel uncomfortabe when I get water in my eye.
