What the effect of using wrong prescription eyeglasses?!
Question: I bought new eyeglasses yesterday, it turns out having wrong prescription after I'm using it for 2 days.
It has: left: -5 and right -4.5,
It should be: left: -4.5 and right -5
Then I switch to my old glasses (with left -4.5 and right -4.5),
but now my left eye seem having some blurry vision.
Is it just temporary or something wrong with the eyes?

For short term, or emergency use, it wouldn't make much of a difference. I borrow my husbands frequently to dial a number on the telephone yet I've had the same eyeglass RX for years.
of utmost importance ............be sure to get the prescription glses your eyes are gems
mine were so bad the doctor asked if i had eye surgery went back got new ones and gave the business hell and the blurry will go away, strain
This is only temporary. I hope that you got this situation remedied.
why dont you just bring them back, so they will change it.
i am not the doctor, but from my experience can give you advise not to play with the glasses

reading glasses wouldnt affect you too much but wrong near sighted glasses will lead to eye strain, headaches and eventually migrains, if you get any sort of headache you're better off just going without them for a while 'till you can visit an optitions...

Probably your imagination. The correction you are talking about is not so far off, that it would cause any issues.
People go for years with an old "correction", and the only thing they suffer is less than perfect vision.
