I have a red ring around my iris?!
Question: only on my right eye, and mostly on the left side of the eye. I wear contacts, and i figured that was the problem, but i wore my glasses for about a week straight and it still isnt healed. It's better without my contacts in, but why wont it heal?? what should i use to make the ring go away???

It may be neovascularization due to lack of oxygen to your eye. Do you overwear and abuse your contacts? It should be getting better if you are not wearing your contacts. Is the red ring you are talking about vessels?

You have an infection of the eye. It could be the condition called Red Eye, or some other form of eye infection. You should see a doctor so that the proper medication can be prescribed to cure it, because if not, it can get worse and cause major damage to your eye.
