Lasik Surgery Questions?!

Question: I'm thinking of getting it when I turn 18 or so(when i can afford it). I heard someone say that after getting the surgery, your eyes will stay that way forever, however some people said they needed prescription glasses after a while. I'm also somewhat scared because if they mess up I might become blind, so my questions are:
a) after the surgery, will I be able to see perfectly clear forever? (or there's still a possibility that my eyes will detoriate because of age, etc.)
b) Is it completely safe? Is there a risk of damaging your eyes?
c) Approximately how much is it?

a.) your vision should be around 20/20 or 20/30..You can not stop the aging process, your eyes will get worse with age. But hey by then, something else will be available to repair it without surgery.
b.) It is very safe. Have seen hundreds of people get it done with no injury.
c.) Not sure..was about 1500-2,000 dollars. I think it is alot cheaper now.

Yes, as we aged, the eye shape will change. After 40 years old, we will still need spect.Yes. Not known.
