Are the eyes the only part of the body that never grow ?!

Question: I've heard this many times.

Answers: I've heard this many times.

Yes, they're the only part of your body that stays the same your whole life and they don't really grow (that's why babies have large eyes), or, at least, not much. The eyes are the biggest factor in Age-Progression used to find missing children and things of that nature, for that reason.

Your eyes grow2,,

of course your eyes grow and change.

well there isnt anything u can do for it to grow . its not really a muscle but muscles control it it. it just grows old lol

my science teacher sed your nose and ears never stop growing... thats all i know

I think so. And if they do, it's hardly noticeable.

i also learned from school that the eyes you had when you were an infant will be the same size throughout your life..up until they start to droop :)

you need to see with your eyes look in the mirror, check old photos and noticed that they are not the same size as when you were born. therefore you eyes must grow. now ive heard your ears keep growing, they dont stop.

well.. excellent question. see...to see the eyes are playing full roll. In infant stage, the eyes are very small and in due course, it grows upto the age of 8 to 10. you can see difference. what it will not grow to a big size (someone having big eyes and it does not mean growing) it is a small part of our body and important part which will be useful always 24X7 except sleeping time. (some of ours will sleep opening their eyes..but it is very rare) Hence, the eyes will grow.

ur eyes grow slightly too....they make the pupil expand and contract as well

Not quite, and behind that lies more than one problem.

Although the overall size of the eye increases only slightly during the growth period, the crystalline lens inside the eye never stops growing.

In later life this leads to presbyopia (needing an extra Rx for near) in everyone, and a risk of cataract and glaucoma, especially acute glaucoma, that increases with age.

they grow and get worse. and anyway if they dint grow wouldnt ure eyes b out of proportion to the rest of ure face? lol
