you description is a little confusing but im thinking that you may have a stye. Their is something over the counter that can get rid of the pain conveintly called stye, probably best to go to an eye doctor to control the infection *if this is the case*

I agree with the sty idea. If nothing else, you can flush it out gently with warm water. DON'T PRESS ON IT, whatever you do. Also, soaking it with a warm rag for periods of time does tend to help. There are a few wive's tales like laying a potato peel on it to draw it out, have been effective for some as well.
But your best bet is to soak it, get some medication for it, and if it persists, talk to your optometrists.

This is not a stye, its's called internal hordeolum which is acute inflammation of Meibomian gland ,it's mostly due to bacterial infection. You need to take antibiotics (oral and topical) and to do hot compresses, then after 48 hours if it doesn't discharge by itself,it needs surgery. Don't press it . N.B.:Stye or external hordeolum is acute staphylococcal abscess of lash follicle and its's associated gland of Zeis.
