Astigmatism contact's advice?!
Question: My eyes having always been irritated when wearing contacts. I just bought the Acuvue Advanced Astigmatism contacts and they feel a little better than the brand I was using before, but my eyes still get irritated quite easily. Eye drops help a little bit, but not significantly. Most of the time when I'm wearing then my eyes go a little red, feel dry and irritated, and are sensitive to light. Any advice? Are daily contacts better? Is there more effective ways to clean the lens?

It may be that you'll never get used to wearing contacts or it may be that it will just take some time before your eyes get used to having them in.
Following the cleaning advice for your particular brand is usually best. Daily disposables ARE best but difficult to get and quite expensive for torrics.
There is a plus point though, despite what they say about dailies you CAN use them more than once so long as you clean them, if you reuse them until they begin to irritate you then just bring out the next pair you can cut down your costs a little.
I've tried a few and have returned to wearing glasses because of convenience.

I have astigmatism as well but could not wear the contacts specifically for astigmatism. I wear the 2 week Acuvue 2 brand and my eyes also get easily irritated and dry in them. I have found that I'm wearing my glasses more as a result.
I would definitely ask your eye doctor about the once dailys contact lenses - I'm planning on doing that myself. I think they would be great simply because you won't need to buy solutions for cleaning anymore.
